We are hiring Sales Manager

DESHOJO BAZAR is a social enterprise that works to empower climate-vulnerable communities, including women, youth, and persons with disability in flood-prone, salinity-affected, drought-prone areas of Bangladesh by involving them in chemical and fertilizer-free agricultural production as safe food, generating income, and ensuring access to the premium market.

Job Location: Dhaka

Roles and Responsibilities

Sales Strategy & Planning:

  • Developing sales strategies: Creating plans to achieve sales targets, including identifying new business opportunities and developing sales techniques.
  • Setting sales targets: Establishing individual and team goals based on Deshojo Bazar objectives.
  • Managing the sales pipeline: Tracking and managing the sales process from lead generation to closure.
  • Forecasting sales: Predicting future sales based on market trends and performance data.

Team Management & Development:

  • Recruiting and hiring sales staff: Identifying and onboarding new talent to the sales team.
  • Training and mentoring: Providing ongoing support and coaching to sales representatives.
  • Motivating the sales team: Creating a positive and productive work environment to encourage high performance.
  • Monitoring performance: Tracking individual and team progress towards sales targets.

Customer & Business Development:

  • Building and maintaining customer relationships: Developing strong relationships with key clients and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Identifying new business opportunities: Exploring new markets and potential clients for business growth.
  • Handling customer complaints: Resolving escalated customer issues and ensuring positive outcomes.

Administrative & Reporting:

  • Managing the sales budget: Overseeing and controlling sales expenses.
  • Reporting on sales activity: Providing regular updates to senior management on sales performance.
  • Analyzing sales data: Interpreting sales data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Staying updated on industry trends: Keeping abreast of the latest sales techniques and market developments.

Educational qualification

At least a graduation in BA/B. Com/BBA or other related subjects from recognized university.

Expertise

Minimum two years of experience in a reputable business/super shop/food KISOK.

Salary: Monthly gross salary 50000.00 BDT.
